Let’s see you on March 30 and 31, 2018 to celebrate the 30th edition of Polynesia’s most important international sporting event.
Moorea Marathon, which has been in existence since 1988, welcomed in 2017 nearly 678 athletes from all walks of life, fond of extraordinary races in a magical setting.
Record beaten under a capricious weather but with tremendous energy and good mood!
Forty international riders from Australia, the United States, Germany, Japan, Brazil, New Zealand and Metropolitan France joined the adventure last year to take up the challenge and share this sporting event which is the most important of the island of Moorea, the magical sister island of Tahiti.
This race which exists since 1988 includes for 2018:
- a marathon of 42.195 km,
- a half-marathon of 21,100 km,
- Polymat Aito Race of 10 km,
- Aremiti Glow Run 5 km. The latter is mostly organized to have fun with a theme determined each year, in 2016 and 2017, the Organizing Committee has proposed a Color Run with throws of colored powder throughout the course. This year, the organizers propose the AREMITI Glow run. After dark, the participants will be sprayed with phosphorescent liquid paint (it is a 100% natural product, it is paint that can be put on his face without any problem)
- Then as the last races of the day those of the juniors with Kids Run: a 1000m and a 1500m.
